Land of Ice

Well, had a good break and spent some quality time with the family in Idaho. We added about 10 lbs to our body, hit the black friday deals and picked up a new car for Kirb. Now that we are back in the winter wonder land of Pinedale, all of the rivers and streams around here are starting to ice up. For the most part I am thinking that the fishin' in these parts are done till about March. I am hoping to get up north to Orofino Idaho to hit the steelhead "B" run in January or February. Hope all had a great holiday weekend, I will touch base again very soon!

Salmon and Steelhead 2010

This is from past trips to Idaho for the Salmon and Steelhead runs 2010.

Here are a few salmon we ran into on the little salmon river in Riggins Idaho. All the salmon we landed avg 12-15 lbs.

Here is Claude with one of the 4 hatchery fish he had.

All the fish we caught avg 6-8 lbs. For being so late in the year they still had great color and a lot of life!

Beginning an Adventure

Well I thought that I would put up this little tid bit about my fishing addiction and share it with the world. Its a work in progress and I am new at it. If you have any advice for me please feel free to share it!
